The City of Muscle Shoals hosts various national and regional youth and adult softball, baseball, and basketball tournaments, in state-of-the-art facilities:

Gattman Park – Three baseball fields, t-ball field, girls softball field, batting cages, tennis courts, two gymnasiums, indoor- and outdoor-walking tracks, three pavilions, picnic facilities, six tennis courts, playground equipment and outdoor pool.

SportsPlex – Four, adult sized softball fields with concession and press area. Several small pavilions and playground equipment.

Webster – Located behind Webster School, two baseball fields, one softball field and a large pavilion.

Steenson Hollow – Small pavilion, playground equipment, one lighted field and one practice field.

Riverfront Park – This pristine park boasts one mile of inviting shoreline along the Tennessee River and Pickwick Lake. A variety of recreation available includes boat launches, fishing piers, docking facilities, picnicking, gazebo, walking trails, and restrooms. Annually, several crappie, catfish and bass fishing tournament events are held here. The Kiwanis Boundless Playground is located here.

Sheffield Recreation Center – Indoor and outdoor swimming pools, racquetball court, weight room, gymnasium, meeting rooms, restrooms.

Avalon Avenue – Soccer fields, lighted outdoor basketball, playground equipment, picnic pavilion, restrooms.

Municipal Tennis Courts – Six lighted tennis courts, and restrooms.
Michael Community Center – Outdoor basketball courts, lighted tennis court, playground equipment, restrooms.

Ollie Harris Municipal Softball Field – Adult and youth softball field, concessions, restrooms.

Sheffield Youth Park – Two baseball fields, batting cages, picnic pavilion.

10th Avenue Park – Playground equipment, outdoor basketball, backstop/practice field.

York Terrace Park – Backstop/practice field, playground.

Spring Park – In 1815, the "Big Spring" provided the site of the original settlement of Occocoposa (Cold Water) later named Tuscumbia. Today, this park remains the cornerstone to the town and is the site of many annual events, including the Helen Keller Festival, Memorial & Labor Day Celebrations. The focal point of the community park is a waterfall cascading into a central pond with over four dozen fountains choreographed to music and a laser light show. The site also includes picnic facilities, pavilions, playground equipment, stage, walking trails, and a narrow gauge train ride through the park that can carry up to 120 children. This park adjoins the city-owned, 9-hole Spring Creek Golf Course.

Tom Coburn Park – Two youth baseball fields, two softball fields, t-ball, concessions, restrooms.

East End Tennis Courts – Nine lighted tennis courts, suitable for tournaments.

Willie Green Park – Outdoor playground, outdoor lighted basketball courts, indoor recreation center, and open areas for picnicking.

Multi-Purpose Recreation Center – Gymnasium, two rooms for events, this facility used also for the senior citizens center.

Colbert County Parks
Rose Trail Park (west Colbert County) – This beautiful waterfront park offers 75 camping sites (developed and primitive) dump station, walking trails, boat ramp, fishing piers, pavilions, picnicking, bath houses with restrooms (camping section closed from October – March).
