*September 3, 2018 – Shoals Area Labor Day Festival Spring Park, Tuscumbia

The Shoals Labor Council’s annual Labor Day celebration at Spring Park in Tuscumbia, begins at begins at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3 with a parade along Main Street. Lineup for the parade begins at 9 a.m. at Deshler High School. Political speeches, music, beauty pageant and other activities will follow, beginning at 11 a.m., in Tuscumbia’s Spring Park. A new addition to this year’s celebration, a car show, begins at 8 a.m. at Spring Park. The celebration is the oldest of its kind in Alabama. Sponsored by the Shoals Area Central Labor Council.
