*September 13-14, 2019 “Oka Kapassa” – Return to Cold Water American Indian Festival, Spring Park 1 Spring Park Rd., Tuscumbia.  Native American Culture is showcased in storytelling, dancing, music, art and crafts and a torch-lighting ceremony.  Over a dozen American Indian tribes return to their southeastern homeland. 9am-6pm.  STS* Top 20 event.  Friday, Sept. 13 is School Day, which is primarily for area school children.  Although Friday is open to the public, parking is limited.  Sat., Sept. 14 is for the general public.  Admission is free. 256-383-0783.
