Over 300 beloved coon dogs find their eternal rest in this one-of-a-kind location. Recognized as an STS* Top 20 event, this celebration promises a blend of tradition, entertainment, and the rich heritage of coon dog camaraderie. You can find the Coon Dog Cemetery 7 miles west of Tuscumbia on U.S. Hwy 72. Turn left on Alabama Hwy 247, and travel approximately 12 miles. Then turn right on Coondog Cemetery Rd and follow the signs

Celebrate Labor Day in the picturesque Spring Park of Tuscumbia with an annual extravaganza featuring a parade, live music, and more. Recognized as the nation’s oldest labor union celebration, this event promises a day of festivities and camaraderie. Best of all, it’s a free celebration open to all. Join us for the parade beginning at 10 am with festivities extending until 4 pm as we commemorate the spirit of labor in a setting that combines tradition with the beauty of Spring Park.
