This distillery is the first legal moonshine operation in Northwest Alabama since prohibition! Our moonshine and family legacy began on an old dirt road in the foothills of North Alabama with the oldest mountain spring water around which supplied the oldest known dwelling east of the Mississippi River known as LaGrange Rock Shelter. It is registered as a National Historic Site.

Dawson Distillery offers the smoothest tasting moonshine distilled in a copper pot, LaGrange Mountain Spirits Handcrafted Moonshine. It comes in a 750 ML Bar top Flask. Come by for a tour and taste! They are ready to take orders. 

Open Friday and Saturday from 10 am until 5 pm and for special events and groups.
