Meet the Moon Tree at Ivy Green! πŸŒ‘πŸŒ± This loblolly pine was grown from a seed that traveled to the moon and back with Apollo 14 between January 31 and February 9, 1971. After germination by the U.S. Forest Service in Gulfport, Mississippi, the seedling was gifted to "The Clearing" at Ivy Green by the Alabama Forestry Commission and planted in October 1976. Visit us to see this extraordinary piece of lunar history rooted right here on Earth! πŸš€πŸŒ
